Therapeutic Services

As a licensed psychologist and member of the British Psychological Society, I offer a range of psychological treatments including:

Successful outcomes rely on the commitment and motivation of both therapist and patient. Treatment includes sessions in the consulting room and cognitive reflection or homework. By undertaking a course of treatment, you agree to engage fully with the process and complete any assigned tasks. Keeping me informed of any medications, new conditions, or changes in your treatment is essential.

Booking

To ensure professionalism and mutual respect, therapy sessions must be paid via bank transfer upon booking an appointment through phone, our website, Facebook page, or private message (Facebook/Whatsapp).

Payment must be made prior to the session upon booking confirmation. If payments are not made as agreed, I reserve the right to cancel the appointment.

Costs

Consultation Prices:
- £300/hour
- £500/2 hours

The cost of therapy includes any written materials provided, but excludes any books suggested for reading. Terms and fees may change, but any changes will be agreed upon in advance of the session.

Additional Online Assistance

For online assistance between sessions (via phone, video, or messaging), the following additional costs apply:

7 assistance sessions/month: £500
15 assistance sessions/month: £1,000

Cancellation & Postponement

Cancellation by Patient: If you need to cancel an appointment, you can do so 48 hours in advance to receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session will not be refunded.
Cancellation by Therapist: If I need to cancel a session, you will receive a full refund.
Late Arrival: If you arrive late, the session will end at the scheduled time to avoid disrupting other appointments.

Exclusivity Regime

Given the complexity of the therapeutic process, I work with a maximum of 2 patients simultaneously (on different days) to ensure exclusivity and dedicated attention.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is maintained according to ethical and legal requirements. It may be breached if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, and you will be consulted if possible.
Our relationship will remain professional at all times.
Notes taken during sessions will be securely stored in compliance with the Data Protection Act (1998) and GDPR. Disposal or retention of these notes will be discussed at the end of our engagement.

Ending Therapy

Therapy can be challenging and emotional. If you feel the need to end therapy, your feedback will be requested at the end of each session to address any concerns. Normally, you will know when you are ready to finish therapy, and we will plan the conclusion together.
I will not terminate our contract suddenly, except under exceptional circumstances, which will be fully discussed. Any verbal or physical threats, inappropriate words, or acts of violence will invalidate this agreement, leading to immediate termination of therapy.
Sessions will not occur if you arrive under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed medication.
You will be notified well in advance of any holidays or necessary cancellations due to illness or professional commitments, and alternative times will be offered where possible. Please notify me of any changes in your contact details.
